Christmas Eve Fun! 2011

This year we headed down to the Swanson's for Christmas.  It is always a party down there.  We had tons of fun and loved being with family.  On Christmas Eve Day, we headed out for the Nikiski pool.  If you haven't been there, it is a must!  Can't wait until my girls are brave enough to go down the big slide.

If you look close you can see Abbi (orange) Brady, Aaron, Jojo, and Chlo (furthest from me)

Abigail and Jo having a good time on the ramp

Warming up in the hot tub.  Ooh, they are cute!

This picture made me laugh.  Check out Abbi's face.  She turns into quite the stinker to her sister when we are down there.  She has a rough time sharing precious Jojo time.  Oh, sisters!

This one is right after the previous.  Jo just smiles through it all.

Grandma Lynn gets all the girls matching Christmas jammies, minus Haylee since she is too old. =).  They were definitely a hit this year since they were ballerina jammies with matching too-toos.
Left to right: JJ (10) Braden (13) Finley (6mos) Maycee (2) Kennedy (3) Abbi (4) Jojo (4) Chloee (7) Finalee (1 week) Haylee (17)

All smiles...............

It is our hope that these two become the best of friends.  They are both the comedians of their families.

My sweet, but oh so grown up Brady with Finny.

Having a good time!

Like I said, the comedians of the family.  These two had me cracking up during pictures.

Love that they are holding hands!!

My cute little family!

We were richly blessed with Christmas this year.  The talks at church were rich with the spirit.  What a gift to have the gospel in our home.

What did Santa bring this year?
You'll have to check back in!

My best Christmas presents!!

Oh, how I love these girls.
 Each one is so different.
Yet, each one is much like the other.

Finley June

The girls insisted on doing a funny face photos since they saw their Swanson cousins do the same thing.

Not sure if it is possible to get all three to smile at the same time.

I love how hard Kenny is smiling in the pic.

Finley scared at how much her sisters love her.

My big girls.....growing up soooo fast!

Oh, I could kiss this cute thing all day long!!!

She is getting to be quite the roller-over.

My attempt to get individual shots failed with Kenny.  She was done!!

How grown up does this girl look?  I wish I could freeze time with my sweet Abigail.  She is just the best kid.  I love the girl she is becoming, but hate seeing it happen so fast!

Abbi getting into her own photo shoot.

I am not going to get Christmas cards out this year, so I hope you enjoyed these pics.  The Mason family is doing great and enjoying the Christmas time.  My you and your family be blessed with the love and light of our Savior.  Merry Christmas!!

So much to be thankful for!!!

We have so much to be thankful for!!!  What a blessed year it has been for us, especially with the addition of Finley to our family.  We are so grateful that our family and friends are healthy and well.
This year we headed down to my sister's house for the feast.  The dining room is set!!

A Souter holiday tradition............shrimp cocktail!!
When I was a little girl, this was not my favorite tradition, but now that I am a big kid....I enjoy with the rest of them.

My sweet Finley and her best buddy, daddy.  These two remain such good friends. Precious!

Jojo knows how to smile for Auntie.  We were blessed with lots of pillow pet shows.  The girls made us say, "Ladies and Gentleman, now presenting Abbi and Jojo in the pillow pet show".

The Chef!
I am not ashamed to admit that I have yet to cook my first turkey.  When you have this man around, it would be disgraceful to even make an attempt at cooking.  The turkey this year was awesome!
Thanks Papa!

Uh..................YUM!!!!

These girls are such buddies.  They love to sing and play at the piano.

Abigail being a stinker.  She cracks me up.

The moment that we got in the car to go home, Kenny asked: "Mom, when can we go back to Auntie's house?"  I told her after Auntie had her baby.  Every night since, Kenny has prayed for "please bless that Auntie will have her baby."  Oh, how love to go to Auntie's house.

Halloween Fun!!

We had the cutest little monsters in town this year.  Abigail was a princess, (a new one for every Halloween party we went to), Kenny was Elmo ( the perfect costume for Alaska!!), and my Finny was the most adorable lady bug you ever did see.  The girls loved getting dressed up.

Abigail got to dress up for dance class the week of Halloween.  My cute little kitty getting ready to dance it up.

Striking a pose.  She makes me laugh.  I love to watch her through the windows at dance class without her seeing me.  She just shines and hits every mark.

Carving the pumpkin. The girls told their dad what kind of face they wanted the pumpkin to have.  The face cracks me up even now.

 Hmmmm, what is in there?

Abigail spooning out the guts.

I love Kenny's expression as she spoons out a great big pile of guts.  So precious!

The bum of the pumpkin was one of each girl's hand.
We had a wonderful Halloween!  The night of we were able to go the Harr's and have yummy soup and donuts.  The girls had a great time hitting up the neighborhood for candy.  Definitely the place to go.  Melinda escorted Kenny around while Rizz took off with the boys and Abbi.  I was stuck back at the house with my dumb knee, (which is doing awesome).  Thanks to the Harr's for putting up with our Monsters.  =)

Look at me......I am three!!!

Birthday buddies!  It will be so fun to track these two cousins.  Haylee and Kennedy share the same birthday and so far they have had at least one party every year together.  I sure do love these girls!!!  This year Haylee turned 17 and Kennedy turned 3!  They both look way too old!!

Make a wish!!

I love Kenny's face in this picture!   Ready, get set........

Our birthday princess!

Blow out that candle!!

Kenny was well taken care of this year!  Doras, cars, and cute clothes.  Thanks to Grandma, Papa, Auntie and the gang, and Grandma Lynn and Grandpa Ron.

Sis wrapping herself up.

Happy Birthday Boo!  You are such a big girl!!
Kennedy..........we just love having you in our family.  You are so funny and have the best imagination.  You love to play with your animals, sing songs, and dance.  You work so hard at keeping up with your big sister, but you are just as content playing on your own.  You love Finley and being a big sister!  Your favorite color is pink and favorite food is manacotti. Thank you for being such a wonderful light in our home!
