Pink Eye has Struck!!

My poor little Abigail woke up with her eye gooped shut this morning. Poor kid got pink eye somewhere and it is starting to spread. We went on to our pediatrician's website and they said they've been having a high volume of pink eye. Doctor's office tomorrow. =) Until then, lots of hand sanitizer, eye washing, and saying "Abbi, you can't play with your sister"

Abbi is being such a trooper. She has rarely complained. The hardest part is not playing with Kennedy.

Yay for being such a good kid through it all. I hope once we get medicine it goes away quickly. I never had pink eye as a kid, so I can't relate. She is just a little scared to sleep in her bed because she says she doesn't want her eyes to "shut".

Sledding with dad

Abbi loves to go sledding. This time, she wanted to pull everyone instead of sledding herself. "Okay, Daddy, you sit down and I will pull you." How can you say no to that?

Let the stripping begin!!!

It's not what you think......=). We have begun the remodeling process and have "stripped" the dining room of its hideous flowers. Yay! Pictures are in the wrong order. Above is obviously after Chablis, Melinda, and I slaved all day on the walls.

The chandelier and ceiling are now gone as well. I will post pics of the finished project hopefully sooner than later.

Abbi had a blast with the kids. This is the gang hanging out on the couch watching Toy Story. It was a long day for them, but they were troopers.

Abbi and the boys thought they would have a diaper party. I took their pictures for future blackmail. This is Abbi and Peyton entranced in the movie and yet holding the same pose. So cute!

Nothing like hanging out with friends in diapers!!

Big thanks to Chablis, Melinda, their children and my husband for the long hours. Excited to get started, but already want it done............I think I am in trouble. =)
