Ahhhh, life in the great outdoors

Abbi's first camping trip!!! Better late than never, I guess. We have been so busy this year with remodeling, chores, and whatever else, camping had been put on the back burner. Well, my family, Abbi, and I were able to make a trip down to Deep Creek last weekend and had a great time camping on the beach, four wheeling, and watching the kiddos play. So many great memories from my childhood came from Deep Creek. It was fun to watch the next generation of kids fight for the halibut stomach to see what was inside of it. (Yes, we are a different family). Sadly, this time the most exciting thing they found in one of the halibut was a fritos bag. Ugh, makes you disgusted to be a human sometimes.
Abbi is still not walking yet, but that doesn't stop her adventurous spirit. She wants to explore, so on the ground she goes. The above picture she is looking for her favorite rock and below she found it!
Yeah for Abigail! She was quite proud of herself. She had a great time getting dirty and playing with Jolee in the dirt.
This past Wednesday, the Laurels, Trina and I went mud sliding for their activity. Well, me being 5 months prego was the designated picture taker, but it was fun nonetheless. I took the girls out to my parents house and walked them down to the inlet to play in the mud. They absolutely LOVED it!! To put a plug in for my dad, the inlet is the northenest (not a word, but go with me) most point of the pacific ocean. It was beautiful out! I got one picture of the before and by the end they were covered head to toe!
