Abigail turns 5!!!!!

My little girl is growing up!!  Not fast enough for her.....she asked me the morning of her birthday, "Mom, how many days until I turn 6? Me: 365, Abbi: I then I be 7, then 8....."  I am not ready for all of those.  5 is just fine for now.  The morning of her birthday day she had her favorite, pancakes.  I made her an A and a 5.

Then we took special treats to playgroup.  The girls help make these bunny cupcakes

For her dinner, her favorite...."regular sgetti"  (minus the meat)  Abbi can almost eat her body weight in spagehtti some days.

Papa and Grandma came over that night to help celebrate and they surprised her with a decadent birthday brownie.  Abigail wearing her new jammies, and birthday crown and sash.

I love this cute 5 year old!!

Dreams do come true!

A couple of days later we had her birthday party at the AK club in Eagle River.  We had a fabulous time with friends and family and Abbi was super spoiled by all!

One of Abigail's favorite presents is her cousin Jo.  She was so happy that she (and the rest of the clan....no offense guys) could make the long drive up for her party.  These two girls are the best of friends.  At church the next day the held hands almost the entire sacrament meeting.  They are so precious together!

Another birthday wish!

Proud Mom and Dad!

Abigail received a ton of wonderful presents, but there is a funny story with this one.  Grandma Lynn spoiled Abbi with this giant Woody doll.  Abbi's favorite movies are Toy Story 1 and Despicable Me.  Later that night she ran up to tell her daddy what she got and said, "Hey dad, I got a giant woody!".  We smiled and told her to definitely thank Grandma Lynn!
Thanks to all of our dear family and friends for spoiling our Abigail so much!  We are so grateful for your generosity!

Abigail, you continue to be such a bright light in our family.  You love to help and always ask what you can do to be of assistance.  You love being a big sister and adore your baby Finley.  Most of the time, you and Kennedy are the best of friends and make each other giggle with delight.  You are SO excited for school and love to learn!!!  You say the most beautiful prayers to you Heavenly Father and set such a great example!  We love you and are so blessed to have you in our family!

Finley 10 months

My baby is growing way toooooo fast!  She is so fun and feisty!
Finley keeps us all entertained and she loves being the center of attention.  If she feels like she is being left out, she lets you know by letting out a loud shrill.  She know when she makes people laugh and enjoys the spotlight.  Diva!
Finley loves to play and is quite the daredevil.  Daddy loves spinning her around in the air, doing 360 circles.  She just smiles and drools everywhere.
I love my blue eyed baby girl!
Poor thing hates going to sleep. She fights it with all of her might.  I was shocked the other day to find her asleep in her high chair.
Of course, the picture woke her up.....but, it was worth the pic.
We sure love having you in our family Finley June!  You adore your sisters and your daddy!!  You are almost crawling and have 9 teeth.  You are quite the stinker pot, but we love all of the joy that you bring into our home!  Our Finley!

Go Team Green!

Abigail has been super excited to do an activity where you get a "team shirt".  She saw a Dora episode about being on a team and ever since, she was waiting for her turn.  Abbi was excited for soccer.

We had an extra fun time because we had friends on the team.  The "boys" and Corbin were on our team and that made for good times!  (Side note:  Abigail informed us that she was going to get married twice.  We told her that wasn't really the goal.  But, she wondered how she was going to marry both of the "boys".  We told her she would have to pick one.  After much thought, she picked Peyton.)  This will be a story for the years!
Abigail and Peyton

Abigail progressed really well throughout the season.  We didn't win many games, but we improved.  Next year is our year,.  =)

This kid can run.  She runs and plays hard!!!  I was super impressed!

This part was always entertaining, trying to get the kids in line and using the correct hand.

Go Team Green!
